County Government “Katy - Hub City of 3 Counties”
The City of Katy is very unique in that it is located in 3 Counties – Fort Bend, Harris and Waller. Fort Bend County is located in the Houston metropolitan area and encompasses a total of 879.0 square miles and an estimated population of almost 355,000. Harris County is the third largest county in the United States with a population of over 3.4 million people and over 1,788 square miles in area. Waller County remains more rural in character, with a population of less than 33,000.

 City of Katy Social Services administers and implements services and coordinates multi-purpose activities and many-faceted programs to serve Older Americans and others.
